The usage of drones have enhanced significantly over the past couple of years. Various countries have started using them in army operations as well as in other activities. According to a recently published report, DRONE AVIATION HOLDI (OTCMKTS:DRNE), which is known for developing lighter-than-air aerostats drones has made an important announcement. DRNE’s wholly owned subsidiary Drone Aviation Corp successfully executed a joint demonstration along with a leading defense prime contractor at a U.S Army Facility.
The Focal Point Of Demonstration:
Various mobile devices and army ground monitors can be used to access secure wireless video footage through mobile ISR aerostat systems called Blimp in a Box. These systems are operated and managed by the US Department of Defense. If U.S. Army can know how to execute this process, then various important tasks that take a lot of time can now, can be finished in no time. It was the primary objective of the demonstration given by Drone Aviation Corp.
The newly introduced wireless system was installed and used for quite a few days to represent the importance and effectiveness of distributing live and secure video feeds to any ground-based mobile device from the tactical aerostat. Two examples of such ground-based mobile devices are One System Remote Video Terminals (OSRVTs) and Remote Operations Video Enhanced Receiver (ROVER). US Army uses both of these ground-based mobile devices for supporting various operations.
Soldiers can access the full-motion and real time videos with the help of ROVER and OSRVTs. If they are equipped, with the latest drone technology, then lives of the soldiers and other ground staff who have to stay in the open field 24/7 can become easy and comfortable. The management of the company is happy, with the initial demonstration and confident about future success. Further details of any action taken by either of the parties will be announced in the near future.
