Drone Aviation Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of DRONE AVIATION HOLDI (OTCMKTS:DRNE) has completed a follow-on order of ground-base and aerial equipment that it received from Eglin Air Force Base. The company has a long list of military clients who continue to actively use its mobile aerostat launcher systems in their ongoing operations.
Drone entered into 2015 with a growing DoD client base. It will look for additional deployments in 2015. Drone customer base not only includes military customer but also government and commercial customer. It uses a unique tethering capability in its products that operates within FAA guidelines for safe operations.
Aerostat launcher system
DRONE AVIATION HOLDI (OTCMKTS:DRNE)’s aerostat launcher system is currently used by several Department of Defense clients including JIEDDO and SMDC. The system has sub-products such as BiB and WASP aerial systems. The Department of Defense owned WASP aerial systems are currently used in planning for system integration tasks in 2015. The BiB systems are used for troop training at the time of rotational exercise conducted at Folk Polk, LA.
The aerostat based launcher product deployment at Eglin AFB enhances features of the constant range instrumentation as needed by the client for platform engineering, weapons and design efforts.
The management view
Felicia Hess, the CEO of Drone Aviation, said that Eglin Air Force Base is one of a number of DoD clients that are actively using company’s aerostat launcher system in support of their operations. The increasing customer base will help Drone to boost its revenue in 2015.
Hess also said that as DRONE AVIATION HOLDI (OTCMKTS:DRNE) enters 2015, the management sees a number of governmental, commercial and military opportunities for its cost effective, unique and tethered aerial platforms. Drone is working on the development of new products and capabilities that will reflect the true value of its superior technology, and will also meet critical requirements by law enforcement and military in the U.S.
