mCig Inc (OTCMKTS:MCIG) has entered into a strategic investment with the Native Cannabis Trade Organization to council, market and educate to Native American Tribes in several states in the U.S. The organization works in association with Tribal communities to help in joint venture deals to construct cultivation facilities on reservation lands. The build out process would be followed by using the most advanced form of growing technology. The organization also assists in the funding process.
The educational outreach plan prepared by mCig and NCTO will serve to educate and guide Native American Tribal groups in creating a sustainable marijuana industry. The move is deemed as quite important as recently the Federal Government approved the groups’ sovereignty in the pot business. The decision paved way for creation of new jobs and additional revenue sources within the tribes.
The management view
Paul Rosenberg, the CEO of mCig Inc (OTCMKTS:MCIG), said that NCTO can be termed as the only national trade organization looking after the interests of the responsible and legitimate cannabis industry. With NCTO collaboration, mCig would like to extend its broad-base of expertise. As of now, the company focuses on financing and would like to extend in various other activities including distribution, processing and growing. The objective is also to assist native groups in figuring out the importance of emerging cannabis industry.
The group is working on better development of legal pot industry. It intends to create a better development structure and demand for greater legalization in the U.S. at the federal level. It is a well-known fact that marijuana enhances the quality of life of patients suffering from serious diseases. However, the society has linked pot usage to negative aspects. NCTO intends to change how people and society at large perceive marijuana industry. mCig will benefit from its association with NCTO in the future.
