The strong track record of Ambassador Ned L. Siegel has helped him grab the leading position on the board of Medbox Inc (OTCMKTS:MDBX). According to reports, Medbox has decided to appoint Siegel as the new chairman of the board of directors. He is expected to uplift the standards of company’s proceedings as well as ensure complete integrity in the board.
Road So Far:
As per the reports, Siegel has worked in many critical roles in the past. One of the prominent turns in his career came when then President George W. Bush appointed him as the Ambassador of U.S. to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. His remained on this position from October 2007 to January 2009. The U.S. President was so impressed with his work that he decided to put him under the leadership of Ambassador John R. Bolton in United Nations. Bolton was appointed as the United States representative to the 61st Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Apart from this role, he is also known for serving the U.S. Mission as the Senior Advisor.
Prior joining as the U.S. Ambassador, he also worked for Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). He was a part of the board of directors of the company. He has spent over 30 years as an entrepreneur; hence, his grass root experience helped him growing higher in his career. At present, he is rendering services in the board of The Siegel Group. He is the Chairman of the Board of this company which specializes in real estate, infrastructure, ports, utilities, energy, financial services and technology.
