A number of independent RadioShack Corporation (OTCMKTS:RSHCQ) franchise owners have decided to inform the ad hoc committee to look after their interests in the bankruptcy case of the company. For this cause, all the RSHCQ store owners have come together and join the bankruptcy process, which is likely to impact the ongoing business practices of all the participants. The committee will try to resolve the matter and protect the individual rights.
Insights On The Matter:
As per the reports, the ad hoc committee will look into all the issues of material interests of the participants as a whole, which means that there is no possibility of any one to one cases. Some of the major issues that are to be addressed by the committee include-
- the upcoming store liquidations or sales
- treatment of customer loyalty programs after sale transaction,
- treatment of dealer/franchise agreements and
- ongoing business operations
As of now there are more than 60 individual members in the dealer group who represent close to 100 stores. The current chair of the RadioShack Corporation (OTCMKTS:RSHCQ) franchisee ad hoc committee, Ira Brezinsky is trying hard to enhance the size of the Dealers Group. She has urged more than 900 store/franchise owners spread across the United States to join the Dealers Group and help it grow further. The attempt to make it a national level group unless all the franchise owners decide to come together.
Brezinsky says that RadioShack Corporation (OTCMKTS:RSHCQ) is one of the most prominent brands of the nation, but it has found itself in bankruptcy lately. The Dealer Group wants to look into all the details and contribute as much as possible to safeguard the individual rights. Its primary objective is to bring RSHCQ out of this situation and push it on the growth path where all the dealers can also enjoy hassle-free development in the near future.
