Telupay International Inc (OTCMKTS:TLPY) entered into an MOU agreement with Xytrix Systems Corporation to work on self-service payment kiosks. The company will offer its dedicated payment technologies and aggregator services to permit Filipino clients to pay bills, purchase mobile airtime, get top-up value cards for convenience stores, restaurants and transit systems. The kiosks will also serve as the center for remittances via the national remittance operators. Xytrix will take care of the hardware section under the deal.
Telupay intends to open at least 1,000 payment kiosks by the 2Q2016. It is targeting the various locations including the Philippines EPZAs factories, call centers and convenience stores and call centers. All of these places feature extensive traffic that will help it to provide its services to millions of people. Also, the payment kiosks will greatly benefit millions of Filipino workers.
Mr. Adrian Ansell, the Chief Executive Officer of Telupay International Inc (OTCMKTS:TLPY), stated that the company intends to deploy payment kiosks at several locations in the region. The ultimate objective is to promote the ‘Tap-Tap’ service in the region. The company will also employ a representative along with a kiosk so that the offered services can be explained to the Filipino community.
The promotion will help the customers to know about TelUPay services. The company expects to make 120 to 150 transactions a day from each kiosk.
