Bayonetta 3 Remains Undated Or Forecast

Nintendo updated its release schedule in its latest investor presentation, where it updated the number of Nintendo Switch consoles sold worldwide.

As of March 31, 2019, more than 34 million units of the popular Nintendo hybrid have been sold, which will receive exclusive Bayonetta 3 from Platinum Games.

Bayonetta 3 is part of the games released by Nintendo and so was mentioned in the updated list that the company presented yesterday.

However, unlike the vast majority of releases, Platinum Games’ Bayonetta 3 does not have a release date or even a forecast – something it shares with Metroid Prime 4.

As you certainly know, it was officially confirmed in January 2019 that the development of Metroid Prime 4 was restartedand passed into the hands of Retro Studios, which explains the absence of any prediction.

Bayonetta 3 of Platinum Games was announced in December 2017 and is still shrouded in mystery, although Bill Trinen recently stated that it would arrive in 2019, something Nintendo did not confirm in this update.

Pokémon: Sword and Shield, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and the next Animal Crossing are scheduled for 2019, but Bayonetta 3 has remained with its “Por Definir” that has been with it since its release.

Recent rumors and speculation about development issues may gain more power over this insistence on not confirming the game for 2019, but for now, we will have to wait for official Nintendo news.

Meanwhile, Platinum and Nintendo continue to collaborate on Astral Chain, the exclusive Switch that will hit the stores on August 29.
